Supporting the local economy
The earth's resources are limited, so we believe we must all find ways to act more responsibly.
Through our ongoing investment in a 500 acre local organic farm within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we support sustainable agricultural practice and land use, avoiding the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
Supporting the local community
We've found many ways to support community initiatives, including: purchase of a new minibus for Whitstable Sea Cadets; fund raising for Demelza House Children's Hospice; sponsorship of Herne School summer camp; funding Christmas Dinner for elderly residents and improvements to the local Age Concern Day Centre; and supporting a new build rehabilitation centre for the Strode Park Foundation in Herne Bay.
Supporting the global community
In partnership with Kent College, The Change Organisation donated over half a million pounds worth of computer equipment, no longer suitable for sale in the UK market, in 2012. It was dispatched, together with 300 metres of fibre optic cable, to provide IT infrastructure and Internet connection for 500 students at Klerruu School, Tanzania in Africa.

We are bowled over by the generosity of Owain and his colleagues at The Change Organisation. The amount of equipment they have donated is going to make a real difference
