Today sees the launch of The Change Organisations charitable push in the run up to Christmas and the New Year.
Today’s opening activity was of course fancy dress (with it being All Hallows Eve). Most of The Change Team attended work as vampires, witches, skeletons, nuns(?) and my favourite, Baron Samedi (Live and Let die – 1973).
Each member of the team has to make a donation for the privilege of dressing up, and later in the day, there will be a charity raffle where members of the team can win a cacophony of Halloween themed goodies.
Tomorrow, we are holding a company Halloween/Bonfire/firework night for family and friends, and all attending (over 100 people) will be making a £5 donation to our chosen charitable cause.
This year (as last) our chosen charity is Demelza Hospice Care for Children. An Organisation which supports children and young people who are not expected to reach adulthood, and offer support to their families. Find out more by clicking here.
