An Interview With Joe Griffin

Tell us what you do for a living.

I am a Sales Consultant at The Change Organisation

Why are you the right person for this job?

Because I have drive to succeed and I like to please people, in this role I get the chance to offer a good service and save money for customers, so is very rewarding.

What gets you up in the morning?

My multiple alarms

Who helped you get to where you are today?

My parents were a big influence on me when I was younger, motivating me to do the best I could.

What is the best or worst business advice you have received?

Always be honest, and I stick to this, as I feel it instils trust with your colleagues and customers.

What advice would you give to someone starting out today in IT?

Learn as much about the product itself as you can, as it helps you stand out against competition

Facebook, Instagram, whatsapp

What is the best book you’ve ever read?

Not so much of a book person, prefer to watch a film

And the best film you’ve ever seen?

Anything with Tom Hanks in it, that man is a God!

What would be your Desert Island MP3s?

Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Oasis and of course a bit of One Direction!

What temptation can you not resist?

McDonalds, I have far too many.

What was your first car and how does it compare with what you drive now?

Ford Fiesta, not much better now, a Vauxhall Corsa

If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be and why?

A sloth, so then I could sleep for the majority of the day!

If you could take part in one event in the Olympics, which would you choose and why

Men’s 100 metres, it’s one of the main events, and everyone talks about it

If you were facing awesome peril and impossible odds, which real or fictional person would you most want on your side and why?

Chuck Norris, there used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody ever crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

Who was the last person you hugged and why?

My Son, because he is my world!

Have you ever met anyone famous, if so how? If not who would you like to meet?

I have not had the fortune of meeting anyone famous, I would love to meet Tom Hanks though, as I said before, he is a God!
