An Interview with Vicki Neighbour

Tell us what you do for a living.

I am one of two credit controllers working for The Change Organisation looking after our customer’s credit accounts.

Why are you the right person for this job?

I feel I am the right person for the job as I am result driven and I treat the companies money like it is my own (Probably better than I treat my own)

What gets you up in the morning?

Usually my stomach rumbling tells me it’s time to get up.

Who helped you get to where you are today?

Our finance Director with help in work and also with my AAT studies.

What is the best or worst business advice you have received?

My best advice would be always keep a paper trail as back up.

Tell us something most people do not know about you?

I cannot swim

What goal do you have to achieve before you die, and why?

I want to have seen as much of the world as I can, having started with New York last year I got the bug for the big cities.

What is the best book you’ve ever read?

‘Can You Keep A Secret’ by Sophie Kinsella

And the best film you’ve ever seen?

I’m not really a film person. The last film I saw at the cinema was toy story 2 or 3 which shows how long it has been since I have been to the cinema.

What would be your Desert Island MP3s?

Olly Murs and Robbie Williams

What temptation can you not resist?

Sweets! I would have sweets over chocolate any day.

What was your first car and how does it compare with what you drive now?

My first car was a Nissan micra where I used to turn the radio up so I couldn’t hear the noises it was making. I now drive an 07 plate Vauxhall corsa which I have had from new so I know that it has been looked after and is in good condition still,…. I sound like I’m trying to sell it.

Who was the last person you hugged and why?

The last person I hugged was my cousin when saying goodbye after meeting for lunch.

Have you ever met anyone famous, if so who?, if not who would you like to meet?

I have never met anyone famous but would like to meet and go shopping for a day with Gok Wan

If you could take part in one event in the Olympics, which would you choose and why?

The Skeleton in the winter Olympics just for the thrill of going down an icy hill head first, not sure my mum would be too pleased.

If you were facing awesome peril and impossible odds, which real or fictional person would you most want on your side and why?

James Bond. How many films and I don’t know how this man is still alive has to give you good odds to survive.
